Album Review: Corinne Bailey Rae: The Love EP

Alterna-soul songbird Corinne Bailey Rae is back with The Love EP, a collection of covers of her favorite musicians. She handles songs from the likes of Prince, Bob Marley, Belly, and Paul McCartney with ease. But the real standout track is the blues rendition of “Que Sera Sera.”

Check out her live performance of the classic at Glastonbury. Not only does Corinne sound effortless, but her backup vocalist sounds like Donny Hathaway. Big words I would never say if they weren’t true.

I had the privilege of watching Corinne perform this live at Webster Hall in NY. You could feel the soul running through the stage…
